Hi!Just want our opinon.... Im thinking of switching the plate kindeys in the front to blacked out ones or should i paint the oems in the same alter as the car??? The reason is that i want the car to look more agressive... I have a carbonblack m3. And if i change by reversal should i do the same thing with the side grills???Wich alter do you think be the color on the car best?Thanks,Michael

I personally would not recommend painting your chrome lie grills because they are located in the lie of the car which is very prone to rock chips. If you be at your current grills you will see that there are little pitted marks over the chrome area. When rocks hit the painted ascend it may chip the paint and you'll undergo plate or primer shining behind it... analyse out our cerebrate to see pictures of the matt color grill. I personally would decide matt black over gloss black just my 2 cents.

I just put the Carbon Fiber ones from modbargains on my carbon black vert. I. M. O they look great. Very subtle almost blacked out look from a distance then you can see the difference when you come up close. I will see if I can get you some pics today or tomorrow.

Buy the front ones matte black and paint the side gills yourself. The front cook WILL chip trust me.. exploit didn't for about 2 months and now it's destroyed. I'm ordering the lie grills but my sides are in perfect condition.
I have a carbon black M3 with the kidney grills painted to match with the same end. I think it looks great and much better than the chrome. I also do not like the matte finish as I think it looks unfinished to me. I bought them from one of the forums sponsors. Note the matching eyebrows and roundel and this was before I installed my angel eyes.

I just heard that the chrome painted tends to chip after use. Remember it takes the brunt of anything flying up off the road. Though I know many have done it themselves so maybe they can share how they did it. I personally think the dark grills eyebrows give the car a more aggressive tough look. Though I like the contrast with the headlights and corners (As some guys put smoked ones which I do not like).
